How it works

Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Letybo® are all FDA-approved forms of botulinum toxin type A, each differing slightly in their protein structures and manufacturing processes. These injectables work by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that cause specific facial muscles to contract, allowing those muscles to relax. As the muscles soften, the overlying skin smooths, reducing the appearance of forehead lines, frown lines, and crow’s feet for a refreshed, natural look.

Your appointment takes about 10–20 minutes. Most patients describe the treatment as quick with minimal discomfort. You can return to normal activities right away. Mild redness or small bumps at the injection sites usually fade within 10–20 minutes.
When does the Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Letybo® start working?

You may begin to notice softening of lines within 3–5 days, with results continuing to develop. Full results are typically visible at 10–14.

When will I see full results from Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Letybo®?

Full smoothing results appear at around 10–14 days. This is when we evaluate whether a touch-up is needed.

How long does Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Letybo® last?

Results typically last 3–4 months, depending on your metabolism, dose, and treatment area. some movement may gradually return around months 2–3, which is expected as the product naturally wears off.

When should I come in for a touch-upI

A touch-up, if needed, is done at the 2-week mark once the treatment has fully settled.

What to do before your Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Letybo® treatment:

Hydrate well the day before and the day of your appointment

Eat a light meal or snack before your visit

Let your provider know about any recent injections, upcoming events, or changes in your medical history.

Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications/supplements prior (unless prescribed)

Do not schedule treatment too close to major events. Allow at least 2 weeks for full results (ideally a 4-week buffer).

Always consult your primary care provider regarding medications, recent illness, and medical conditions before receiving any aesthetic treatment. Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
What are the aftercare instructions for Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, or Letybo®?:

Stay upright for 4 hours after your appointment,

Expect small bumps or mild redness that fade within minutes to an hour.

Avoid intense exercise, saunas, or heat exposure for 24 hours.

Do not rub, press, or massage treated areas.

Do not get facials, massages, or laser treatments for 2–3 days.

Do not schedule touch-ups earlier than 2 weeks, the product must fully settle.
