What to expect with a PRF or PRF EZ gel injection treatment?

Treatments typically take about 60 minutues including a blood draw, processing time, and injections. Treatment is generally well tolerated, though you may feel mild pressure or pinching during injections. Some swelling or bruising is possible, and results develop over time.
What is the healing process like after PRF?

Mild swelling, tenderness, or bruising can occur for 2–5 days after treatment.

When will I see results from PRF or EZ Gel PRF?

What to Do Before a PRF Treatment:

Stay well hydrated for 24–48 hours before your appointment to help optimize your PRF quality.

Avoid alcohol and blood-thinning medications or supplements for 48 hours prior (unless prescribed).

Eat a normal meal before your appointment to help prevent lightheadedness during the blood draw.

Arrive with clean skin and avoid applying makeup, lotions, or oils to the treatment area.

Avoid intense exercise, saunas, or heat exposure on the day of treatment.

Inform your provider of any medical conditions, recent illnesses, or changes in medications prior to treatment.

Always consult your primary care provider regarding medications, recent illness, and medical conditions before receiving any aesthetic treatment. Treatment is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
